Today in my photography class my teacher asked us some random questions that we may want to answer on our blog. At first i didn't truly pay attention, thinking that i didn't need any help on it because i had a pretty good idea on what i was going to do with it. That was until she asked us this question,"What does photography mean to you." Sounds simple right? Thats what i thought until i actually started to think about it. (funny how that happens)
After awhile when she began to discus other questions,i was still pondering what photography actually meant to me. It probably wouldn't have stuck with me so long except the answer i thought of kind of slapped me in the face.
-Photography to me is a history book of your life. I tell everyone when they look at my photo albums, i take these because when I'm gone i want people to know who i was, what i did, the people i loved. And then as they look at it that is whats happening. They are learning about me one chapter at a time.
I was wondering if you were listening... Just kidding. Thank you for your honesty.
